The Benefits of Goat Milk Soap

Commercial "soaps" are not really soap at all but detergents. Our skin is the largest body organ and it absorbs what is on it. Think in terms of years...of detergents, or sodium lauryl sulfate? Maybe you have switched to commercial "natural soap" and read on the label: vegetable oil, canola oil or modified rapeseed oil?  If so, chances are that oil was created from a GMO crop.

Eczema is an issue for so many people given all of the irritants in our environment. Goat milk soap is gentle, non-irritating and non-drying. Rich, moisturizing lather that helps heal skin issues.
Goat milk soap is less allergenic than synthetically loaded commercial soaps and detergents. Goat’s milk soaps are free from harmful chemical and a very mild soap bar safe to use for all skin conditions.

It is known that goat milk can reduce skin inflammation, and soothes dry and damaged skin. Habitual use of good quality goat milk soap may reduce wrinkles and delay signs of skin aging.

Goat’s milk soap has alpha-hydroxy acids that soften the skin by breaking down the glue that holds dead skin cells together.  Raw Goat’s milk, which is what I use  has the closest PH level to our own skin. This helps protect our skin from invading bacteria and chemicals.
Guess what else? It's  loaded with essential nutrients and vitamins like vitamin C, B1, B6, B12, and E.   Goat milk consists of natural emollients and triglycerides that act as natural moisturizer

The benefits of raw goat milk soap are many, it only makes sense that it would be beneficial to our skin as well. My soap is made from the milk of Nubian and Miniature Nubian dairy goats. They have very high butterfat milk which makes high yielding cheese, which I do make, but it's also the marvelous ingredient in my soaps. An entire quart of full-fat milk in each batch as a matter-of-fact. Not a drop of water for filler. No canned or powdered milk- but only straight-from-the-goat milk from my own personal herd of goats. It's truly a farmstead enterprise, from start to finish. I breed them, raise them, and I milk them by hand. Our goats are not livestock to us, but beloved pets that produce amazingly well. I believe they are happy and content and that because of this, they make more and richer milk. I love my goats and I love to share about them.
